(*While the artwork shown at the Healing Art Show was all submitted by artists with mental illnesses, the Isthmus made an incorrect statement in its article. The article lists 4 or 5 mental illnesses and makes it seem as though that’s all that’s being represented. In truth, there are too many mental illnesses to list, and many of the artists are not diagnosed with what was listed. I thought the article shouldn’t have listed any at all and should’ve simply left it at “mental illnesses.”)
